OC Gridiron Club

All are invited to the monthly Gridiron Club meeting this coming Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at 6:30 p.m. in the commons at Oregon City High School. Included in the meeting agenda will be the opportunity to meet our new head coach, Kevin Strasser.

Attending the parent meeting for fall sports registration at OCHS has become even more important. Now you have the opportunity to listen to recruiting expert Julian Jenkins speak to OCHS athletes, parents, and coaches on the topic of becoming a collegiate athlete.

The parent meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 16, 2010, in the Main Gym at 7:00 p.m.  Definitely a meeting you will not want to miss. Further details can be obtained by following this link to the OC Gridiron Club website.

For those parents and football players who were unable to attend our April 2010 Gridiron Club presentation by Dr. Mario Seyer on concussions, please take the time to read through the hand-out that was distributed during the presentation. It can be located here on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Center for Disease Control and Prevention website.

It’s crunch time, and the OC Gridiron Club needs everyone’s help to start to pull together all the projects and support we have planned for our football teams. We will be meeting at 7 pm at Jimmy O’s Pizza on Tuesday, July 6, and would love to see as many new faces as possible. Don’t be shy…just show up and join right in to our discussions. It truly does take a community to support a successful football program.

Be sure to join us Monday, June 7, 2010, in Room B105 at 7:00 p.m. at Oregon City High School for our monthly OC Gridiron Club Meeting. We will be focusing on our upcoming Gridiron Golf Classic as well as touching base on our other fundraising efforts. We’re always looking for football families and community support to help promote the OCHS football program. We’d love to have you there!
